Hello everyone,

I just returned from a short Orlando Vacation where I spent one morning at the Disney-MGM studio theme park.  The main reason I went to this part of Disney was that they had a Chronicles of Narnia attraction in their brochure.  I can’t say I can recommend this attraction very highly.  You start in front of a large scale wardrobe where the tour guide tells a little about the Chronicles of Narnia.  Then the wardrobe door opens and you step into a fairly small room that’s been decorated as a wintery Narnia, complete with lamppost.  I’ll admit that there was a bit of a thrill walking through the wardrobe into a frozen Narnia with the movie theme song playing in the room.  There’s a brief introduction over the loudspeaker by Douglas Gresham (although they don’t mention his name) and then an actress playing the white witch comes out onto the balcony and gives a nice performance of some of the movie lines.  Then you turn to the screen and basically watch an elongated version of the movie trailer.  And once the trailer is over, so is the show.  It only lasted about 5 minutes all together.  There was a nice collection of movie artifacts as you leave the room including Jadis’s sleigh and wand, some swords and Lucy’s costume.  All in all, the Star Wars flight simulator and the Muppets 3D attraction were much better.  Below is a picture of me standing outside the attraction.  I’ll post some more pictures once I get them developed.

Blessings,

Dan Stanley
