Although, remember that in LB, the children actually ARE older.  The span of time to let them grow a bit would actually make it more true to the books.  In PC and VDT, and for Eustace, Silver Chair, the kids are still close to the same age as in LWW, give or take a year or two.  So theoretically they could go ahead filming in the original published order (an idea I applaud!) and the time for growing children could work in their favor.
