Hello Michelle,

 

Here’s the order of the original publication.  We know that Lewis wrote at least the first 4 books in this order.  Lewis wrote the last three quickly and almost simultaneously, so even he didn’t exactly remember the order he’d written the last 3.

 

1. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
2. Prince Caspian
3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
4. The Silver Chair
5. A Horse and His Boy
6. The Magician’s Nephew
7. The Last Battle

I have a question.  I know the order of the books was changed a few years ago starting with The Magicians Nephew then the LW&W.  I was just wondering what the original order was as I would like to read it in the order C.S. Lewis wrote the Chronicles.

 

Would be very happy if someone could let me know!!
