Re: [thelionscall] Narnia on the BBC

Focus on the Family's Radio Theatre is a series of made-for-radio audio drama's based mostly on great literature and made by the conservative Christian organization Focus on the Family.  On of the first things they made was all seven Chronicles of Narnia, with full support of the Lewis estate.  As a matter of fact, Douglas Gresham does the intros and final commentary for each book.  The acting quality is amazing, the audio effects are perfect, and the scripts stick close to the exact words of the books most of the time.  You ought to look these up!

Yes, the Radio Theater is the best, I agree with you.  The BBC version was still good, however, if you overlook the special effects.  Radio Theater isn't television, after all.
I've never heard the Radio Theatre, what is it??
