The original published order went like this: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, A Horse and his Boy, The Magician’s Nephew, and The Last Battle.  For the first thirty-some-odd years of their publication, that was the order.  More recent publications have moved Magician’s Nephew to first and placed Horse and His Boy in between Wardrobe and Caspian.

 

A couple of weeks after Narnia premiered, work leaked out that development of Prince Caspian had been given a green light.  Last week it was reported that Douglas Gresham had possibly already received a script for review.  There has also been some speculation that Caspian and Dawn Treader might be combined as the 2^nd movie.

Thanks for that! Much appreciated :) Where do you get all this information from???? Did you get it from narniaweb?? I haven't actually read all of the books yet.  Still only on the Horse and His Boy at the moment.  Currently at the point where they are running away.  I'm loving it!

 

Why did they change the order?! Bit bizarre, thats like changing LOTR's or Harry Potter!! Very strange!!!
