RE: [thelionscall] Favorite PC parts

I'd hve to say that's one of my favorite moments too. I can't really say which is my favorite. This book is probably one of my top three in the series, so there are too many parts I like. But yes, I'll say that's one of them.

Doesn’t seem like there are a lot of favorite Prince Caspian moments, but I’ll give mine.  It is a bit about Edmund, and to me this is Edmund’s finest moment.  When the children and Trumpkin are lost in the woods and one point Aslan appears, but only Lucy can see Him.  Lucy wants to follow the Lion up the gorge, but Peter puts it to a vote.  When it comes to Edmund’s turn to vote…

“Well, there’s just this,” said Edmund, speaking quickly and turning a little red.  “When we first discovered Narnia a year ago – or a
thousand years ago, whichever it is – it was Lucy who discovered it first and none of us would believe her.  I was the worst of the lot, I know.
Yet, she was right after all.  Wouldn’t it be fair to believe her this time?  I vote for going up.
“Oh, Ed!” said Lucy, and seized his hand.

To me this moment shows the change in Edmund and is an even greater representation of his repentance than his valor in destroying the witch’s wand.  I hope they keep that moment in the movie.

By the way, here’s my display in my office with my McDonald’s Happy Meal Narnia figures:
